Recently restored from an old coach house for ancient couches, Loft Le Murate is a spacious and modern apartment with independent entry, that still preserves its beautiful original vaulted ceiling. The loft is located in the historic center of Florence, in Via Ghibellina, few steps from the wonderful Santa Croce Church, opposite Le Murate and about 10 minutes taxi from Santa Maria Novella train Station and Fortezza da Basso.

an ancient street in Florence, where both Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo had lived!
The apartment is very romantic and is on the ground floor with its own private entrance. You enter the large living area with big and comfortable double sofa bed (140×200 cm), and flatscreen smart TV. Then you get to the fully equipped kitchen and the large bathroom with hydromassage shower. Upstairs is the sleeping area with big double bed, big wardrobe, and lovely study area. The loft is provided with air conditioning, independent heating, and free wi-fi.
The loft has a central location in the lively and beautiful Santa Croce district, filled with restaurants, wine bars, beautiful shops. The Sant’Ambrogio market (indoor and outdoor), where to find all kinds of food and typical products, is only few steps away. That’s the ideal place to taste local specialities, a paradise for food lovers!
In front of the loft you find the Murate Complex, once a prison, now wisely restored into a place for cultural events, with a cafe, a book store, a tour agency, and a restaurant pizzeria. Walking left the loft on Via Ghibellina, you find yourself in front of Badia Fiorentina and the wonderful Bargello Museum.
The famous Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and all other Florentine monuments are about 10 minutes walking distance.
The apartment is also conveniently positioned for people traveling by car. Beccaria Parking or Sant’Ambrogio Parking, and Bargello Garage are very close the apartment.
House Rules
- Leave the apartment neat, especially the kitchen, taking the garbage out. When you exit the loft, garbage cans are located on the right side, further ahead on the left side of the street.
- No parties or events
- You cannot smoke inside the apartment
- Check-in time is 3PM – 11PM – Check out by 10AM
Please Note: Potential for noise – The main door and all windows are on the street Via Ghibellina and sometimes you can hear the traffic noise.
